This 16 Week Marathon Training Plan will help you to build a firm base of weekly mileage. It will help you to increase your overall endurance and include some speed work. This plan is best for folks who have completed at least one Half marathon. You already have a consistent running habit  and are looking to make the leap from half marathon to marathon. This plan will begin with a weekly base mileage of about 20-25 miles per week and end with a weekly base mileage of about 35 - 40 miles per week. Runners looking to start this. program should already be running about 15 - 20 miles per week.
